William "Dale" Wills, of Roanoke, sadly passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at the age of 57.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Earline Wills; and one brother, Wally Wills.
Dale grew up in Southeast Roanoke and worked on automobiles for most of his life. He was very talented at working with his hands. Some of his favorite hobbies included building race cars, assembling model cars, and tattoos. Dale was a die-hard Dale Earnhardt fan and Dallas Cowboys fan. He was very outdoorsy and enjoyed biking, camping, hiking, and especially fishing.
Dale is survived by his only daughter, Kaila Tomoko; and grandchildren, Daeghyn Griffith and Daxtyn and Wynsli Tomoko; his sister, Mary Lynn Wills; his brother, Sammy Wills (Becky); his nieces, Brandy Underwood (Stevie), Mikki McCoy (Stacy), and Samantha Wills; his great-nephews, Donaven and Phillip McCoy, and Damien McKay; and his great-nieces, Joelle Hicks and Cataleya, Sa'Mala, Kaedynce, Na'Kereah, and Kaloni McCoy.
The family plans to have Dale's ashes scattered at a later date. They will be remembering him by the river, one of his favorite places to be. May Dale rest in peace, he is now in the arms of his mother and father again. The Lord called him home to end his suffering and sorrow. Dale will always be loved and remembered for the good in him.
