William Lee Richards, affectionately known as Billy, age 66, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away on November 15, 2025, at his residence. He was born on August 9, 1959, in Nova Scotia, Canada, to the late James H. Richards, Sr., and Nancy H. Richards.

William entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, having been saved and secured in his faith. A faithful attendee of his church, Billy was known for his dedication as a maintenance man at Cardinal Glass, where he worked for many years. More than anything, Billy loved spending time with his family and friends, and could often be found enjoying his passion for fishing.

William leaves to cherish his memory his brother, James H. Richards, Jr. (Carol) of Tennessee; sister, Stephanie R. Robertson of Roanoke, Virginia; niece, Haley Robertson of Roanoke, Virginia; special friend and caregiver, Evelyn McCroskey, and fur baby, Bella.
