William Franklin Orange, age 70, departed this life on August 12, 2024, in Roanoke, Virginia. He was born on August 4, 1954, in Roanoke, Virginia, to the late John Lewis Orange and Sarah Baldwin Orange.

In addition to his mother and father he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gail Orange; and brothers, John Orange, Jr. and Tommy Orange.

William was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed gardening. He shared a special admiration for Reba McEntire. He was a hard-working man who worked his entire life until his decline in health. He loved his family and was a great provider for his family.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Christy Chockley (Jason) and Melissa Hatter (Cameron); brothers, Ronnie Orange and Melvin Orange; sister, Debra Caldwell; grandchildren, Nathan Mundy, Kaylee Bowles, Gavin Bowles and Cainen Hatter.
