Wiley Buck Rutherford, age 80, affectionately known by his family and friends as "Bucky," departed this life on June 5, 2023, at Raleigh Court Health and Rehab in Roanoke, Virginia. He was born on December 30, 1942, to the late Marvin Wilson Rutherford and Freddie Hendricks Rutherford in Paris, Texas.

He was employed with Adams Construction as a Road Superintendent. Bucky had a special love for the Shepherd Chapel Church in Gravette, Arkansas.

Bucky was preceded in death by his parents, M.W. and Freddie Rutherford; one daughter, Tammy Lynn Rutherford; one son, Wiley B. Rutherford, Jr.; his first wife, Betty Rutherford and second wife, Rebecca Rutherford.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children Jason Rutherford and Robin R. Young; sisters, Linda R. Jordan, June Ballard, and Diane Oakes; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.
