Wanda Gayle Chambers departed this life on Saturday, December 10, 2022.

Wanda was born July 27, 1969, in Roanoke, Virginia to Fred and Marie White.

Those surviving are her daughter, Rhianna Dawn Chambers; sister, Cindy Chambers; niece, Danielle Simpkins and Danielle's husband Ethan Simpkins; and several relatives and special friends.

Wanda attended Northside High School in Roanoke, Virginia.

Wanda's loves were her daughter, family, friends, and her numerous pets.

Wanda had a devote passion for all animals and cared for a multitude of pets, often putting their needs before her own.

As Wanda continues her journey hereafter, she will be joined by those who departed before her. Her parents, Fred and Marie White; her brother, Joseph Hite; and many other dear friends and loved ones.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1609 Peters Creek Road N.W. Roanoke, Virginia, 24017.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the local Angels of the Assisi or the Roanoke Valley SPCA in Wanda's name.
