Obituary

Vivian Irene Olinger Hall, 83, of Wise County, Virginia peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 joining her husband in Heaven, Teddy Jackson Hall. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Ernie and Maude Olinger and eight siblings.

She is survived by her son, Greg Hall and his fiancé, Karen Sankbeil; grandson, Alex Wyatt Hall; sister, Loretta "PeeWee" Fetter; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Vivian was a gentlelady, born in the mountains of Wise County, Virginia; she was the eighth out of 10 children. They were raised poor but she learned to enjoy the simple things in life with much gratitude and became an elegant woman, full of grace and charm. She lived a homemaker's life and loved to burn through cigarettes. For fun she liked to work jigsaw puzzles. She was an avid and accomplished quiltmaker. She often took ribbons and prizes home from the fairs in which she entered her creations. Among other adventures, she loved yard sales and family outings. Only above her love of her family and grandson was her love of our Lord Jesus, in whose arms she now rests. She will be missed by all of those she loved.
