Vicki L McCray Robinson, 70 of Roanoke, Virginia went to be with the lord on Sunday, October 2nd, 2022, surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years Ralph, her daughter Shannon Jarels, grandson Steven Hale, (her beloved Curly Joe), brothers Bill (Lolly) McCray, Bobby (Diane) McCray, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Preston McCray, mother, Cleo Woodson McCray, brothers, David (Josh) McCray, Richard McCray, and Barry McCray.

She was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother. Being the only girl out of six children, she had a great love for her brothers who she loved unconditionally.  She loved to birdwatch and had a love for nature and her pets. She loved the Redskins, NASCAR (Tim Richmond), and The Beatles, (Paul).  She was a talker and never met a stranger and she wore her heart on her sleeve.

Arrangements have been made at Valley Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Roanoke, VA.

A celebration of her life will be held at Fairview United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 15 ^th with Pastor Tim Gearheart officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Angels of Assisi.
