Vanessa Jane Hylton, of Moneta, Virginia, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021, at the age of 41.

Vanessa is preceded in death by her stepson, Dustin Dean Hylton; and her uncle, Michael Ayers.

Those left to cherish Vanessa's memory are her children, Hannah Marie Hobbs, Christopher Cook, and Jasper Hobbs; her grandchildren, Elias Patten and Samuel Dean Hylton; her husband, Barry D. Hylton; her parents, Gary and Teresa Gibson; her siblings, Crystal Parker (Steve), and Wesley Gibson; her uncles, Donald Ayers and Gary Ayers; her aunt, Loretta Ayers, her in-laws, Joshua Hylton Jr., Mildred Hylton, Cindy Garner (Kenny), Priscilla Matherly (Butch), Drexell Garner (Tracy), and Cheryl Ferris (Tim); and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.

A memorial service in Vanessa's honor will be held at a later date.
