Toney William Orick, 77 of Roanoke passed away peacefully on April 8, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Muncey and Mary Elizabeth Slusher Orick; sister, Helen Jean Newman; and baby brother, Tommy Orick.

Those surviving to cherish their memories of him are his beloved wife of 56 + years, Pearl S. Orick; sons, Jeffrey Wayne Orick (Linda Allen) and Anthony William Orick; grandchildren,  Reece Thomas Orick, Jeffrey martin Orick, and Kaitlin Alyssa Orick; great-grandchild; Acacia Orick; sisters, Linda O. DeHeaven and Deborah O. Reed; sister-in-law; Shirley Ann Vandergrift; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends;

Toney was an outgoing and fun-loving guy. He made friends easily and enjoyed life. He like to take drives through the country and play golf at the Old Monterey Golf course. He loved being outside and hunting and fishing. He loved to visit the beaches of Emerald Isle and Myrtle Beach. He was retired from Roanoke City and the Western Virginia Water Authority. He will be missed by all those who loved him.
