In loving memory of Wayne Clark, 77, a beloved figure of the Salem, Glenvar, and Elliston community, who sadly left our world on Monday, September 2, 2024, after a life richly lived in service and kindness.

Known for building the community staples - the Glenvar Minute Mart and the Sunset Deli, Wayne was a beacon of light and hope in our community touching lives through lending a helping hand whenever needed and loving his wife and family deeply.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Nora Clark; and leaves a legacy through his wife of 59 years, Lucy Clark; his sister, Diane Clark; his daughters, Kim Slate and Tammy Clark; his son-in-law, Gary Slate; his grandchildren, Kambrie, Deavin, and Austin; and friends, Harold Montgomery, Skip Jackson, and Kenny East.

Wayne's memory will be a guiding star for all who knew him. To celebrate Wayne's remarkable life, we will gather on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Living Well Church in Salem from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
