Timmy Duane Porterfield, age 62, of Roanoke, Virginia, departed this life on August 31, 2022. He was born in Crisfield, Maryland, on June 9, 1960, to the late John Frederick Porterfield and Gwendolyn Elaine Garlick Porterfield Mcfarland, who survives.

He proudly served in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged after several years of dedicated service.

Timmy was a master mechanic, who enjoyed repairing and building motorcycles and cars. He loved his Harley and seized every opportunity to ride.

Timmy leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Tennie Jo Cooper; his mother, Gwendolyn Mcfarland; one brother, Teddy Porterfield; and three daughters, Sue Urban, Vanessa Grassnickle, and Heather Adkins.

Per Timmy's request, there will be no public service.
