Thomas Walsh Zaebst, aged 85, of Roanoke, VA, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oran and Evelyn Zaebst, his ex-wife Priscilla Zaebst, and his brothers Oran Jr, Danny, and Tito Zaebst.

Thomas is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Janine Zaebst; sons, Thomas Zaebst and his wife, Jen, and Kip Zaebst.

A retired Firefighter, Thomas found joy in collecting trains, trucks, and fire engines. He cherished moments spent around a cookout with family and friends. Family trips to the beach at Pawleys Island, SC, held a special place in his heart, creating cherished memories during many vacations.

The family extends gratitude to the staff of Lewis Gale Hospital in Salem for their dedicated care of Thomas during his time there.

Thomas will find his final resting place, alongside his parents and brothers, at the cemetery of All Saints Church in Pawleys Island SC during the week of July 27 - August 3, 2024. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
