Teresa M. Light, "Terrie", age 63, of Roanoke, VA passed away on February 10, 2021. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mason and Laureen Fink and Shular James and Sara Johnston, Sr.; parents, Shular James Johnston, Jr. and Marlene Marie Fink Johnston; daughter, Autumn Light; uncles, Clinton Johnston and Doke Lucas Johnston; and aunts, Francis Allan (Glen), Jean Lively, and Daphne Lively.

She is survived by her brother, Steve Johnston (Dreama); life partner, Lester Byrd; Best friend, Dennis Light; nieces and nephews, Matthew Johnston and family, Katelyn Johnston, Amanda and travis Belcher and family, Autumn Hobbs (Sean) and Bradley Oliver and family; step-mom, Bobbie Johnston, uncle, Marvin Livley (Sue); aunts, Carolyn Johnston and Alva Lucas; and many cousins, extended family and friends.

Terrie loved going for long drives through the country, watching t.v. and listening to music, especially gospel. She was very devout in her faith and loved her family. She cherished the company of her loved ones and called her sister-in-law, Dreama to talk daily. She tried to live life to its fullest and was a one-of-a-kind lady who never spoke a harsh word about anyone. She will be missed by all those who loved her.
