Talmadge Bryant Williams, Jr., 76, of Roanoke, passed away on January 29, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Talmadge Bryant Sr. and Fritzie Light Williams.

He is survived by his fiancé, Rosemary H. Tench; cousins, Trina Moreland and husband, Wayne Murray, Brintha Clarke Gibson and Sandy and Jim Light; stepson, Phillip Wright-Williams; and special friend, Bill East.

Talmadge was "a mess", a man with a big heart and a joyous sense of humor. He was kind to everyone. He retired from UPS where he had many friends after almost 30 years of service there. He was a devoted member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He had a special love and caring way with animals and babies, he could baby them both. He was the type of friend who always stood by those he cared for, regardless of blood relationship ties. He will be missed by all those who loved him and those he loved.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at later time. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Wounded Warriors or St. Jude's charities.
