Stephen Mitchell Peters, of Radford, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022, at the age of 33.

Those preceding him in death are his grandparents, George R. Peters, Sr., and Nancy Peters.

Mitchell was born on September 25, 1988, to Stephen Peters and Shanna Simmons. He loved riding his dirt bike, hunting, and 4-wheeling. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved dirt bikes and anything with a motor. He served in the United States Navy and was a Seabee.

Those left to cherish Mitchell's memory are his father, Stephen Peters; his mother, Shanna Simmons; his stepfather, Anthony Simmons; his sister, Karlie Diggs (Jason); step-sister, Tamara Simmons; uncles, Rodney Hare and George Peters; aunts, Patsy Hare, Susan Croy, and Mellissa Fisher; grandparents, Jerry and Cheryl Hare; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
