Stephen Robert Lohmeyer passed away on May 15, 2026, in Roanoke, Virginia. He was born on April 23, 1950, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Stephen was retired and enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved coffee, motorcycles, both riding and working on them, and had a deep love for animals. He will be remembered for his kind spirit and the joy he found in his hobbies and the people around him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carlton Lohmeyer; his mother, Dorothy Booth; his sister, Ruth Lohmeyer; and his stepfather, Donald Booth.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Julie Lohmeyer; his daughter, Chloe Lohmeyer; his brother, Rick Lohmeyer; his nephew, A.J. King; his niece, Krystal Blanton; his sister-in-law, Stephanie Capp; his longtime friend, Tanya Smith; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Stephen will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
