Sherman Ezra Jeffers, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at the age of 82.

Those that preceded Sherman in death are his parents, Robert and Lula Jeffers; his son, Mark A. Jeffers; and his four sisters and one brother.

Those that are left to cherish Sherman's memory are his wife, JoAnn W. Jeffers; his two sons, Michael S. Jeffers (Debbie) and Eric L. Jeffers (Leigh); eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; his brothers, David, and Marvin Jeffers; and his sister, Donna Retzler.

A service to commemorate Sherman's life will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022, at Valley Church (8100 Angel Ln. Roanoke, VA 24019) at 1 p.m. with the family receiving friends one hour prior. Interment to follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
