Sharon Faye Welcher, born on May 7, 1966, in Roanoke, Virginia, peacefully departed from this world on Saturday, December 16, 2023, in Shawsville, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John "Tucker" and Lillian Carol Bott; her sister, Lisa Carol Bott; and her beloved husband, James "Jimmy" Welcher.

Sharon found immense joy in tending to her flower beds, basking in the warmth of precious family moments, especially with her grandchildren, and embracing the beauty of the outdoors.

Left to carry forward her memory are her children, Jessica Craighead (Curtis), J.P. Welcher, Eddie Furrow, and Michelle Furrow (Russell); her cherished grandchildren, Savannah Craighead, Makayla Craighead, Harley Craighead, Hayden Furrow, Elizabeth Woods, and Amelia Furrow; her sister, Tammy Bott Mills; her brother, Danny Bott; her mother-in-law, Elizabeth "Bessie" Welcher; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Sharon's life will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023, beginning at 2 p.m. at Shawsville Congregational Holiness Church, with Pastor Wes Conner officiating. May the memories of her warmth, care, and love bring comfort to those who mourn her passing.
