Sarah Mae West, of Vinton, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 12, 2025, at the age of 84.

A graduate of William Byrd High School, Sarah was a gifted organ and piano player. She was a devoted member of Covenant Community Church in Salem, where she faithfully played the organ each Sunday morning, blessing the congregation with her music.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry H. West and Caudie English West, and her brothers, Bobby West and Samuel West.

Those left to cherish her memory include her nieces, Ann Hailey (OC) and Crystal Janney; her nephew, Brad West; special great-nephews, Tyler Janney (Lacie) and Trevor Janney; along with numerous other great-nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Sarah's life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Community Church in Salem, Virginia.
