Roy Clyde Thomas, Jr., 51, of Salem, VA, passed away on February 6, 2025. Born on March 20, 1973, in Roanoke, VA.

Roy was a hardworking man who never hesitated to lend a hand to those in need. Whether he was under the hood of a car, playing games with his children, or crafting unique works of art from whatever materials he could find, Roy found joy in creativity and connection.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Jimmy Kinsey.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Kinsey Thomas and Brian Thomas; his mother, Mary Kinsey Grim (Mark); his grandchild, Atlas Mullins; his wife, Frances Thomas; his sisters, Tiffany Thomas Towery and Tina Poston; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A celebration of Roy's life will be held at Valley Funeral Home on Saturday, February 15, 2025, beginning at 12 p.m. Friends and family will gather immediately following the service at the House of Pillars at Camp Bethel.
