Roxie Ann Enoch, 86, of Roanoke, VA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Born in Shinnston, WV, on May 24, 1938, Roxie spent her life caring for others. She began as a devoted mother and later fulfilled her calling as a nurse. She found joy in tending to her flowers, cherishing time with friends and family, and caring for her beloved cat, Henry.

Roxie was a member of Westhampton Christian Church in Roanoke, VA, when her health allowed. She had an extraordinary gift for finding beauty in the simplest moments. While gazing out her French doors from her hospital bed, she once remarked to a friend, "Isn't it wonderful that God gave us eyes to see," as she admired a blue sky, the shining sun, and birds flying by.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Lloyd W. Enoch, Jr. (Beth Mathena); her grandsons, James E. Enoch and Alex L. Enoch (Christy Eppling); her great-granddaughters, Ellie and Haisley Enoch; her brother, James Satterfield (Judy); and a circle of dear friends whose unwavering love and support enriched her life—Ellie Hansard, Kathy Cross, Steve Walton, Tom Sheedy, Rev. Bob Mooty, and Mefi Rowland.

A memorial service to celebrate Roxie's life will be held on April 12, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Westhampton Christian Church in Roanoke, VA, with Rev. Bob Mooty officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Roxie's honor to Good Samaritan Hospice.
