Ronkeith was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Jessie Adkins; his brother, Gonzalazes "Lee" Adkins; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Lay. Leaving behind his loving wife of years 55, Judy Ann Adkins; his two sons, Ulysses Scott, and wife, Wendy Louise Adkins, and Alexander Gardner Adkins; his sisters Audrey Lay and her sons, Frank and John Lay; sister-in-law, Sandra Adkins, Carrie, and "Darrin" Johns and their children. Kimberly and "Maurice" Turner, of Michigan. Also his brother-in-law, David and Marge Bredekamp Lori, David and Cheryl, and their children; sister-in-law, Susan Ruotsala and Billie Bernard.
He was a dedicated member of the Odd Fellows Lodge #49, a well-known fellow in the local political landscape, and an active member in his Church, St. Mark's Lutheran. Graduate of Southwestern High School of Detroit and Nashville Auto Diesel School. In addition to his many other accolades, he was a member of the Michigan National Guard.
Services will be held at St. Mark's Lutheran Church Tuesday, November 29, 2022. Viewing starts at 11:30 a.m.; Services at 1 p.m.
He will be missed by all.
