Ronald E. (Ronnie) Ott died on March 24, 2025, at his home in Vinton, Virginia. Ronnie grew up in Bridgewater, Virginia. He graduated from Turner Ashby High School in 1966 and served in the U.S. Army. He had worked in the mail room at Rockingham National Bank. Ronnie was the son of Howard B. Ott and Edna M. (Ludwick) Ott, both now deceased.

He leaves behind an older brother James H. (Jim) Ott and a younger sister Jane (Janie) Ott Whetzel as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins."
