Ronald Joseph Alderman, of Roanoke, passed away on October 23, 2022, at the age of 59.

Ronald is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Alderman; his grandfathers, William Freeman and Hobert Alderman; and his grandmothers, Ellen Freeman and Christine Alderman.

Ron worked for Volvo in Dublin for many years. He loved to cook, and we all enjoyed his wonderful meals. One of his favorite past times was hiking through the Appalachian Mountains. Ron was a talented guitarist who loved jazz and rock music.

Those left to cherish Ron's memory are his mother, Alma Alderman; his sisters, Lisa Alderman, and Denise Shumate; his sons, Philip Alderman, Adam Alderman, and Cory Alderman; his grandchildren, Skylar Alderman, and Jack Alderman; and his nephews, Chris Wingfield, Josh Wingfield, Andrew Shumate, and Camron Shumate.

A private memorial gathering will be held to honor Ron's life.
