Roger Lee Boothe, of Roanoke, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at the age of 66.

Roger is preceded in death by his father, Clifton E. Boothe, Sr.; and his mother, Bertie Latimer Boothe.

In his earlier years, Roger enjoyed taking care of animals on the farm and competing in horse shows. He also enjoyed doing hair, makeup, and nails. Roger worked as an orderly for three years. In his later life, he enjoyed finding treasures at the local Goodwill, flea markets, and yard sales – especially jewelry and shiny rings.

Those that are left to cherish Roger's memory are his loving life partner of thirty years, Nathaniel Muse; his brothers, Clifton Edward Boothe, Jr. (Vickie) and John Hurst Boothe (Kim); his sister, Gayle Boothe Pittman (Jay); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Also survived by furry friends, Princess, Onyx, and Snowflake.

A Memorial Service to honor Roger's life will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, beginning at 3 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home Chapel; with the family receiving friends one hour prior.
