Robert Jason Wood, 49, of Roanoke, VA, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025.

He was a graduate of Northside High School and received his associate's degree in marketing, and later went to Paul Mitchell Hair Academy. Jason then had periods of working in various hair shops. Leaning on his marketing degree, he decided to open his own shop in downtown Roanoke. Woods Cuts became a go-to for many men and boys looking for that extra edge for their hair and beards. Not just local family and friends, but even some international clientele.

Jason is survived by his partner, Lisa Lewark, and his daughter, Ainsley Wood. Also surviving are his father, Barry Wood, and his wife, Susan; his mother, Carolyn King, and husband Wayne; his brother, Ryan Wood; and step-sisters, Lisa King, Christina Fielder, and Tamasa Witt.

Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins, and, of course, his City Market family.
