Robert E. Payne (Rob) , age 65, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2023, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 7, 1957, to the late Harry Alfred Payne and Ada Rowena Jessee Payne.

He is survived by two sisters, Mary Foutz, and her husband, Charlie of Salem, Virginia, and Sherry Francisco, and her husband, Paul Kidd of Roanoke, Virginia; two brothers, Jerry Payne, and his wife Peggy and Larry Payne, all of Roanoke.

The family would like to thank the staff at Roanoke Memorial Hospital for their loving care shown to our brother.
