Robert Martin Hunt, age 73, of Blue Ridge, Virginia, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2022, at his residence. He was born on December 24, 1949, in War, West Virginia, to the late Harry Herbert Hunt and Virginia Kay Hunt.

Robert had a special love for animals especially his dog, Boo Boo. He enjoyed feeding his squirrels and hummingbirds.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Etta Jane Hunt; daughter, Pamela Hunt Bower (Michael); son, Steven Hunt (Kathleen); brothers, Harry Hunt (Bessie) and Joel Hunt (Barabara); sisters, Sandy Tilson (Rodger) and Karen Helton (Jesse); sister in law, Brenda Puckett; grandson, Brayden Bower and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Christine Cox, and one brother-in-law, Bob Puckett.

No service will be held per Mr. Hunt's request.
