Richard Allen Guinn 83 of Shawsville, Va got his heavenly homecoming on January 23, 2023. He was born to James Dalton and Virginia Guinn. As a young man, he served in the Army, was a tree surgeon and finally found one of the loves of his life trucking which he did for 48 years retiring from Coke-Cola and then from Lil Black Cat Express hauling for himself out of Radford Arsenal to Fla. Farming was another love of his life, gardening, raising hogs and hunting. The biggest love of his life, his beautiful devoted, and loving wife, Doris Guinn who is left to cherish his memory. He is preceded in death by his parents Jame Dalton and Virginia Guinn, his brothers, Charles, and James, his sisters, Shirley, Doris, and Muriel, son, Ricky, and granddaughter Shay. Also left to cherish his memory is Angel their loving cat who truly is missing him, daughters Sherri, Vicki, Donna, Tiffany, a son Terry granddaughters, Crystal, Michelle, and Danielle, grandsons Kevan and Adam; 7 great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. His bath girls Bailey and Kayla, and his nurses, Desiree and Marsha with Medi Hospice for your over two years of compassionate and faithful services and the many many memories you all blessed us with at such a trying time in life. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You made him and us feel very cared for.
