Reese  Ellis Baker, age 78, of Roanoke, Virginia passed away on April 29, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Omer Reese Baker; siblings, Donald, Eloise and Nell; and his loving wife, Janet Lucille Baker who passed away in May 2020.

He is survived by his loving family: son, Jason Baker and wife, Kimberly; grandchildren, Alexandria, Nikolai, Colton, Elena, Carrie, and Phoenix; sister, Katherine Worsham; special nieces and nephews, Rhonda, Greg, Darrel, Mark, and Matt; brother-in-law, Walter Blankenship and wife, JerriLynn; mother- and father-in law; Linda and Timothy Rickman; grandkitties, Mallory, Prairie, and Lakota; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Reese was a very soft-spoken, gentle giant. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren with all his heart. He displayed the textbook example of what a good husband and father are during his life. He was wonderful to others and tirelessly worked to give his family the best of everything. He loved garden and enjoyed sharing the products from this hobby. He attended Real Life Ministry Church in Salem, Virginia. He will be missed by those who loved him.
