Rebecca Mandi "Rebecci" Saunders passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026, in Roanoke, Virginia. She born on October 10, 1975, in Baltimore, Maryland.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Fishbein; her son, Nicholas Saunders; and her father‑in‑law, Donald Saunders, Sr.

Rebecca brought warmth, humor, and joy to everyone who knew her. S he loved her family and cherished spending time with the people she loved most. Rebecca served as a Lead Operations Processor at Wells Fargo. She was a devoted member of the Journey Church. Rebecca delighted in life's simple joys such as board games, card nights, and watching reality TV shows. She had a deep appreciation for vintage treasures and unique finds, and she loved to travel and approach life with a fun, carefree spirit. Though she was allergic to animals, her affection and love for them was unwavering .

Those left to cherish precious memories, her mother, Kathy Fishbein; her loving and devoted husband, Donald Saunders, Jr.; her son, Joshua Saunders (Destainee); her sister, Michele Fishbein; her niece, Julia Fishbein; her sister‑in‑law, Cassie Herteau and her children, William, Mary, Kenny, Diamond, and Dakoda; and her best friend, Shannon Gartland, along with Shannon's daughter, Morgan.
