Rebecca "Becky" Hedge Elmore, of New Castle, passed away on September 9, 2022, at the age of 64.

Becky was born in Radford to the late James Thurman Hedge, Sr., and Chrystline Mathena Hedge.

She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Janie H. Brightwell, and Karen H. Akers, and her brother, James T. Hedge, Jr.

Becky enjoyed drawing and painting in her spare time. She always loved a good crime show and her favorite ice cream. She was at her happiest when spending time with her grandchildren and cooking for her family.

Those left to cherish Becky's memory are her daughter, Hillarie Elmore Wright (Jason); her son, Michael Coleman Elmore; her sisters, Ruby H. Thompson (Tommy), and Barbara H. Hollins (Larry); her grandchildren, Lani Gray Wright and Coleman Lee Wright; her special nieces, Chrystal Hedge and Lily Shaw; her special nephews, Elijah Hedge and Landon Shaw; and many more nieces, nephews, and cousins that she loved dearly.

A celebration of Becky's life will be held at a later date to be announced.
