Raymond Bruce
Campbell
Jan 26, 1955 — Jan 28, 2022
Roanoke
Ray Campbell, known by many as Pastor Ray, 67, of Roanoke VA, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, January 28, 2022.
Predeceased by his father Lloyd Campbell and mother Renate Campbell, daughters Jennifer and Brandy, uncle Lee Roy, Aunt Shirley, and sister-in-law Rita.
Ray was a very special person to many people. He loved God with a passion and always put Him first. He also loved his family deeply. He showed compassion to everyone God put in his path. His greatest joy was spending time with his wife, kids, grandkids and seeing people make a choice for Jesus. He chose to serve Jesus at the age of 40 and served Him faithfully until Jesus called him home. He is going to be dearly missed but will never be forgotten.
Ray leaves behind his wife Terri, sons Matthew and Christopher, daughter in laws Kayla and Kayla, grandchildren Kara, Joseph, Jayden, Colton, Emelyn, Roxanna and Riley, brother and sister-in-law Larry and Anna, sister and brother-in-law Patty and Mark, nieces, and nephews Lawton, Elizabeth, Jennifer and Michael, mother-in-law Nancy Lindsey, sister and brother-in-law Penny and Keith, nieces, and nephews Candace, Nathaniel, Nick, and their families. He also leaves behind friends John and Stephanie as well as many other close friends, too numerous to list.
A service to commemorate Ray's life will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the Parkway House of Prayer, beginning at 2 p.m. with officiant Pastor Jeff Keaton.
