Randolph William Stump, Sr., 70, of Roanoke, VA passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on May 19, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, Alonzia Stump, his wife, Janice M. Stump, and grandson, Brandon William Stump.

He is survived by his mother, Carlie Stump; children, Stephanie Crigger (Albert), Randy Stump, Jr. (Jamie), Chris Stump (Gracey Humbert), and Kelly and Paula Robitson; grandchildren, Cierra, Brittany, Dakota, Ben, Alyson, Brianna, Savannah, Thomas, Gracelyn, Max, Camille, Alex, and Haley; great-grandchildren, J.J., William, Paxton, McKenleigh, Silas, Emmersyn, Olivia, and Ava; brothers, Barry Stump (Donna) and Dennis Stump (Peggy); special friends, Pam and Joel, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Randy had a tremendous love for his family and God. He loved to tell stories of times past and was quite the character, always cracking a joke making whoever was around laugh. He loved to drive and drove anything with a steering wheel. He raised three kids on his own and loved his family as a devoted father and grandfather. He was an expert marksman during his military service in the Army and loved to shoot guns. He loved to travel and visited many places. He was a member of Harvest Ministries Church.

Celebration of Randy's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2021 with Pastor Milton Atkins officiating at Valley Funeral Home. Family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Flowers are welcome or consider donating to Carilion Hospice.
