Randall Wade Hicks, affectionately known as Randy, 70, departed this life on March 18, 2025, at Martinsville Health and Rehabilitation. He was born on April 9, 1954, in Roanoke, Virginia, to the late Faye Franklin and Howard Hicks.

Randy was a skilled master of sound and a professional sound technician. He spent many years traveling and utilizing his expertise with many famous artists. He loved to talk about his time on the road and the people he met along the way.

Those left to cherish his memory are his lifetime friend and partner, Judy Poff; his beloved fur baby, Sebastian and a host of other relatives, friends, and bandmates.
