Ralph R. Robinson, 73 of Roanoke, Virginia went to be with the lord on Thursday, August 31st, 2023.

Those who are left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Shannon Jarels; grandson, Steven Hale; brothers-in-law, Bill (Lolly) McCray, and Bobby (Diane) McCray, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Vicki; his father, Virgil C. Robinson; his mother, Delcie L. Robinson; and his brother, Stanley Robinson.

He was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather. He cherished his family and showed it through his love and compassion.  Ralph had a charismatic attitude and everyone he met loved him. He was a talker and never met a stranger. He loved to spend time with family especially his grandson Steven whom he doted on. He loved Washington Nationals baseball and golf was his favorite sport.

Ralph was a dedicated and loved employee with Aramark and retired after 28 years of service. He loved all his customers, and they loved him as well.

Arrangements have been made at Valley Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Roanoke, VA.

A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 9th at Fairview United Methodist Church located at 1310 Van Buren St. NW, Roanoke, VA 24017. Service to be officiated by Pastor Tim Gearheart.
