Patricia "Tricia" Ann Slusser of Vinton, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at the age of 61.

Tricia was a dedicated employee of Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield for many years, a graduate of National Business College, and an avid animal lover.

Tricia is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia "Pat" Ruth Thurston, and her father, Tony Thomas Begley, along with her many beloved Corgis: Shadow, Little Man, Maggie, Rambo, and Pippin.

Tricia is survived by her husband, James Oakey Slusser; her son, Christopher, and daughter-in-law Jennifer; her step-daughter, April, and son-in-law Nolan; her son, Allen, and daughter-in-law Crystal, and her eight grandkids: Alexis, Emma, Kaileih, Bailey, Tinley, Carter, Adalynne, and Tate.

Tricia considered everyone family and was loved by all those who knew her, so she will be dearly missed. At this time, the family has elected to hold a Memorial Service for Tricia at a later date to be announced.
