Owen Wesley Conner, affectionately known as "Wes," passed away on January 24, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on July 28, 1937, Wes lived a life marked by simple pleasures, devotion to family, and quiet strength.

Wes was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, a service he carried with honor throughout his life. He found joy in the everyday moments that brought him peace, smoking his tobacco pipe, spending time fishing, watching his favorite game shows and western movies, and tending to his yard. He was also a wonderful uncle to many, always showing kindness, patience, and care to his extended family. These routines and relationships reflected his steady nature and appreciation for a life well lived.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ocie Conner; his spouse, Aida Conner; his children, Patrick Conner, Wayne Conner, Cynthia Conner, Diane Bosta, and Dennis Bosta; his siblings, Odean Conner; and his siblings, Sylvia Wyatt, Pauline Sutphin, and Audrey Dickerson.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Wesley Conner, David Conner, Eric Conner, Peggy Yeakle, Elaine DeGidio, and Susan McGee; his sister, Kaye Gravell; his grandchildren, Robert Reynolds, Jessica Reynolds, and David Conner; his great-grandchildren, Lauren Reynolds, Ethan Reynolds, and Jaydlen Reynolds; and his great-great-grandchild, Liam Reynolds.
