Ottis Lee Cumbie, born on August 14, 1981, in San Diego, CA, peacefully departed from this world on July 5, 2023, in Salem, VA. Ottis dedicated many years of his life to his professional career, working at Allstate, United Health Care, and Anthem. His hard work and commitment were recognized and appreciated by colleagues and clients alike.

Ottis was preceded in death by his loving father, Gary Cumbie, his dear mother, Maria Cumbie, and his cherished grandmother, Doris Cumbie. Although they are no longer with us, their memory will forever remain in Ottis's heart.

Those left to cherish Ottis's memory are his beloved sister, Josephine, and his caring brother-in-law, Matthew. Ottis held a special place in his heart for his nephews, Allen and Alex, as well as his niece, Sophia. He is also survived by his uncle, Stevie, and his cousins, Melissa and Ricky.

Ottis's presence brought joy and happiness to the lives of those around him. He had a kind and compassionate soul that touched the hearts of many. His warm smile and friendly nature will be dearly missed.

Though Ottis has departed from our earthly realm, his spirit lives on in the cherished memories we hold. We find solace in knowing that he has found peace and eternal rest.

A private service to celebrate Ottis Lee Cumbie's life will be held for immediate family members. In this time of mourning, may we draw strength from one another and find comfort in the memories we shared. May Ottis's soul find everlasting peace.
