Norman Leroy Gillespie, also known as Chuck, 88, of Roanoke, VA, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at his home in hospice care, surrounded by his loving children in his final moments.

Norman was a loving father who also enjoyed spending time with his beloved grandchildren. His favorite pastimes were watching wresting and the famous western Gunsmoke.

Chuck is preceded in death by his father, Millard, and mother, Margaret Gillespie; and his sons, Norman Wayne Gillespie and Shaun Gillespie.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Norman Robbins, Carol Wood, Debbie Lee, and Margaret Edwards (Tim); his sons, Allen Gillespie and Norman Leroy Gillespie; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Norman will be missed dearly by all those who knew him.
