Nancy Gearhart Scheie, 77, of Roanoke, Virginia, peacefully passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Jr. (passing in 2010) and Emily Catherine Whitlow Gearhart (passing in 2005), who she dearly missed. Also preceded in death by her husband, Norman Dwight Scheie (passing in 2008). She is survived by her loving daughter, Jessica Scheie, and her beloved pet Lady Amber II.

Nancy was a caring spirit and caregiver to many. She was constantly going out of her way to help people in need. She always put others first and had no problem doing it. She graduated from Patrick Henry High School and attended many colleges with her most notable education coming from her time at Roanoke College. She loved fashion and sewing and was always dressed to impress. Nancy also loved classical music and would listen while she worked. She was a huge fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Tottenham Hotspur FC located in Tottenham, London, England. She would try to make time between her busy schedule to catch games. She also enjoyed watching some of her favorite programs; either a crime documentary or a Lifetime movie. She loved her daughter, Jessica, and her dog, Lady Amber II, with all her heart.
