Nancy Carrol Lindsey of Vinton, left for her heavenly home on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. She was born and raised in Tuscumbia Alabama.

Those who were waiting in heaven for her arrival were parents: Noah and Velma Mitchell, sister Shirley Martin, brother Lee Roy Mitchell, daughter Rita Mcgill, granddaughters Brandy and Jennifer, and son-in-law Pastor Ray Campbell.

She raised three girls almost completely alone. She came to know Jesus at the age of 54 in Hollywood Florida. She started attending Bible studies and church on a regular basis. She shared Jesus with anyone who would listen especially her family and her friends at ClearView Manor. She has made a huge difference for Christ in the lives of many. She would even take her dog to nursing homes to minister to the people there. She loved her poodles. She also loved cooking. She cooked for her family, friends, and neighbors. She faced many health problems over the years but when you asked her how she was doing her Famous words were "I'M BLESSED". She has left a part of herself in the hearts of family and so many friends. She will be missed but what a legacy she leaves behind!

She now awaits in Heaven for daughters, Terri Campbell and Penny Forbes; her son-in-law, Keith Forbes; her grandchildren, Candice and Jose Prieto, Pastor Nick and Katrina Forbes, Nate and Jessica Forbes, Matt Campbell, and Chris and Kayla Campbell; her 16 great-grandchildren, her fur baby Jaxon, her best friend, Lorena Oliver and too many others to list.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the Church @ Grandin Village beginning at 2 p.m. with Pastors Nick Forbes and Brian Hughes officiating.
