Myra Charlene Kearney of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away peacefully with loved ones present on December 23, 2025. Charlene was born on  October 24, 1943, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and raised in Stevenson, Alabama. Later in her teens, she returned to Chattanooga, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her father, James "Breezy" Wynn, mother, Juanita (Swift) Drew; and her husband, James F. Kearney Jr. of Idaho.

Charlene leaves behind a daughter, Lori Anne (Harris) Murphy of Ringgold, Georgia, a son, James R. Harris Jr of Chickamauga, Georgia (residing in Bedford, Virginia), two granddaughters, Jennifer (Murphy) Brown of Ringgold, Georgia, and Hannah Elise (Harris) Bryan of Fairbanks, Alaska; t hree great grandsons in Ringgold, Georgia, and one great grandson and granddaughter in Fairbanks, Alaska.

A special loving "thanks" to her caregivers who loved, cherished, and carried her to the gates of eternal peace.

A future celebration of life will be conducted at a later date with immediate family members.
