Miranda Kim Bassett, affectionately known as Randie, entered this world on June 11, 1974, in Seoul, South Korea, and departed on May 10, 2024, in Salem, Virginia.

Randie's journey began at Cave Spring High School in Roanoke, VA, where she laid the foundation for a life filled with adventure and purpose. She embarked on diverse career paths in medical and food service industries across Virginia, Indiana, and Florida, where her dedication and compassion touched the lives of many. Randie's adventurous soul found joy in traveling and the thrill of amusement parks, where she enjoyed every moment of exhilaration and laughter.

She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Elaine Zander Bassett, and her brother, Michael, who departed this world at birth.

Those blessed to cherish Randie's memory include her loving father, Gary Bassett, and his wife, Judy; her devoted sister, Victoria Sayler, and her husband, Kevin, along with their children, Jackson, Stella, and Leo; her cherished sister, Melissa de Pineda, and her husband, Chabelo, along with their children, Challen, Ariana, and Keelan. Their lives enriched by Randie's love and light carry her legacy forward with hearts full of gratitude and affection.
