Michaela Salome Haynes, 34, of Callaway, Virginia, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021. She was born on Thursday, August 27, 1987, in Rocky Mount, VA, to Troy Duane Haynes of Angola, Indiana, and Sharon Hodges Haynes of Callaway, Virginia.

Michaela is preceded in death by her grandparents Fred and Betsy Hamilton of Smithfield, NC, grandparents,  Ronnie and Polly Hodges of Callaway, Virginia, and her niece, Saphira Brianna Haynes.

Michaela will be missed by her sister, Shaddai Bethel Haynes, and brother, Elliot Preston Haynes - as well as her many nephews and nieces - of note, Daren Mark Lucas - whom she dearly loved.

Michaela brought into the world four beautiful children - Moriah Grace, Taevon Bennett, Tessa Jean, and Negan Cash. She loved them so much.

Michaela was the sparkle in her mother's eyes. She was a genius, an artist, a planner, a lover, and a friend. She embraced life, prayed every day, never looked down on anyone, and left a space in this world that can never be filled.

Michaela's memorial service will be held on November 17, 2021, at Valley Funeral Home 7 pm - 9 pm. A gathering of friends and celebration of her life will follow.
