Michael Ernest Robinson , affectionately known as " Mikey ," age 70, of Roanoke, Virginia, departed this life on October 29, 2022. He was born on May 3, 1952, to the late Leroy Robinson and Dorothy Whitt Robinson.

Mikey served in the United Marine Corps and was honorable discharged; he took great pride in being able to serve his country. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He demonstrated the love of Christ by serving in his community and volunteering his time to help others. Mikey was an avid collector of VHS tapes and collected over 1000 in his time. In addition to collecting VHS tapes, he collected pictures of his loved ones and created multiple scrapbooks to share memories of the past years. He enjoyed hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains as well as cycling. He once rode his bike from Roanoke, Virginia to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

In addition to his mother and father, Mikey was proceeded in death by one sister, Rebecca Robinson.

Those left to cherish Mikey's memory are his loving siblings; Linda Fisher, Kelly Gibson, and Patrick Robinson; nieces, Melony Robertson and Emily Robinson; nephew, Caleb Robinson; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 11, 2022, at 3 p.m. at Sherwood Memorial Park.
