Merri Beth Maguire Mansfield, born on May 13, 1961, in Abington Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, brought love and light into the lives of those around her. She departed from this world on December 31, 2023, in Roanoke, Virginia, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and compassion.

She was preceded in death by her father, Shanti Digenova. Merri Beth is survived by her loving mother, Linda McAdams Spicer, her daughters, Tiffani Luptak and Amber Bobbitt, her son, Timothy Bobbitt, and her special daughter-in-law, Amber S. Bobbitt, five sisters, five brothers, and seven grandchildren.

In addition to her regular nine-to-five routine, Merri Beth found immense joy as an avid babysitter, pouring her nurturing energy into the lives of children. Her love for people extended to her role as an Avon representative, which was more of a cherished hobby than a job. She found delight in the simple pleasures of life — the beach, the vibrant colors of the sky, and cheering for the Eagles during football season.

Merri Beth valued every moment, especially when surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Her time with family was precious, and she created a haven of love and warmth wherever she went.

A memorial service to celebrate the beautiful life of Merri Beth Maguire Mansfield will be held at Garden City Baptist Church in Roanoke, Virginia (3536 Garden City Blvd. SE, Roanoke, Virginia 24014) on January 6, 2024, beginning at 1:30 p.m. There will be a visitation hour from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. to rejoice in stories of Merri. The service will be officiated by Pastor Roger Guilliams.
