Matthew Randolph "Matt" Scott, 42, of Roanoke, passed away on August 5, 2025, in Roanoke, Virginia. He was born on November 21, 1982, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Matt was the owner and founder of One Stop PC Doc IT Solutions in Roanoke. He was an avid enthusiast of space exploration and bald eagles. Known for his youthful and fun-loving spirit, he was forever the prankster and a devoted friend, father, and family member. He enjoyed kayaking and fishing on the James and New River.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Florence Scott, and his cousin and good friend, Bryan Mitchell.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Cameron Scott, his "Eaglet"; father, Robert Scott; sister, Jessica Scott; nephew, Landon Schwind; aunts, Diana Couture and Leane Black; cousin, Krystle Weaver; his friend and ex-wife, Tammy Cawley; good friends, Rich Weaver, Chris Vaden, Devin Boothe, and Jacob Baldwin; and his beloved cat, Merlin.

A memorial service will be held at Mellow Mushroom, 2239 Franklin Rd SW, Roanoke, VA 24014, on August 15, 2025, at 5 p.m.
