Mary Snow passed away Friday, June 16, 2023. She is a 1952 graduate of Andrew Lewis High School and has been a lifelong member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, where she played the piano, organ, and sang. She retired from Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in 1999 after 22 years of service in the Medical Education Department.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Annabelle and Jennings Walker; brother Julien Walker; sisters Louise Burnette, Irma Jean Boothe, Patricia Ibrahim, and twin sister Martha Fields. She is also preceded in death by her husband, James Snow, sister-in-law Maybelle Walker and grandson, Sonny Dillon.

Surviving are her children:  Suzanne Hamilton, Cheryl Gravely, Lisa Gillis, and Rodney Bohon. She has 6 grandchildren: Hollie and Troy Craig, Brandi Mitchell, and Britney Gravely and Jacob Weddle; and Logan Bohon. She also has 11 great-grandchildren:  Layton and Slait Craig; Austin, Addison, and Aliyah Mitchell; Brennen Cardwell, Landon DeGennaro, and Aksel Nicely; and Jacey, Jace, and Jacoby Weddle.  Mary loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all her heart and now waits for the soon resurrection morning when Jesus comes to take us all home to live with him in those beautiful mansions that he has gone to prepare for those that love him and keep his commandments.

A service will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. and the funeral service to follow directly at 2 p.m.
