Mary Ann Boling, 79, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025. She was born on July 7, 1945, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to the late Raymond and Loranne Wright.

Mary served as a church secretary for many years and was a dedicated member of Brentwood Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. A talented seamstress, she especially loved crocheting and generously made hundreds of handmade items for charitable organizations throughout her life. Her warm heart, faithful spirit, and giving nature touched many.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, John Wright.

Those left to cherish her memory include her brother, Mike Wright; her sisters, Peggy Modica and Ruth Wright; and her dear friend, Jim Darby. She will be remembered fondly by many extended family members, friends, and fellow church members.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Brentwood Baptist Church, 3912 Plantation Rd., Roanoke, VA 24012, with Officiant Rodney Spears presiding.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Brentwood Baptist Church in Mary's honor. Her legacy of love, service, and faith will continue to inspire all who knew her.
